In July of 2017, I started considering myself as a part-time knitter. In the course of that time, I have learned a lot. I learned about who I am as a knitter, what I want to do as a designer, and that right now, I need to focus on one or the other. So for the entirety of 2018, I will be doing two big things in establishing myself in my business. First, I will be knitting samples. I have a goal to take this whole year and knit myself some sweaters that are designed by people I admire in the knitting world. Second, to go alongside that, I hope to knit for other people. I said this before, but I just wanted to take time and emphasize that I love knitting handmade gifts. I have seen and experienced first hand the joy that comes from making something and seeing people appreciate and sometimes cherish the gifts that people spent hours upon hours to create. 

Overall, my goals in this 2018 year is to knit for other people, grow in my skills as a knitter (there are so many techniques I still haven't learned yet!) and to continue to hold on to God's truth and in His provision.
