Big News: My First Commission!!

Hello, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful week last week and the weekend. A lot of family things were happening last weekend and I literally had no time on the computer. But it was all okay. I went to a wedding for my maternal cousin and while I waited to start dancing the night away, I finally got to make some progress on my sweater design! I'm so close to finishing it, I can taste it! Also, I am about 1/2 inch away from finishing my brioche scarf for the husband (I test the size on him, that way he can tell me how much longer he would like it)! I can't believe the month is almost over. A part of me feels like I don't have enough time to finish all of my WIPs for this month. But I know if I stay focused, I can get these last two projects done.

So last week was quite an emotional whirlwind. I was totally confused and overwhelmed because of complications occurring with PayPal. But, with that being said, the day after I made that blog post, everything was figured out and now my PayPal is up and running, meaning that I can now receive sales for my patterns!

Along with that, I'm excited to announce that I have received my first commissioned work! Last week, I was posting photos of my first pair of socks that I knitted for my husband (we kinda spoil each other with handmade or homemade gifts). My aunt noticed them and was talking about how she would love for me to knit some. After talking over Facebook Messenger, she commissioned me a pair of socks! I'm so thankful for the amount of support my friends and my family have given me and I'm so excited to knit the socks!
